Jenny Wilding Cardon may be designing since high school. Back then, she would create eccentric, rebellious pieces of clothing, after which make her friends wear these phones school. After graduating through the University of Utah with a degree in Women's Studies, Jenny spent 36 months together with her husband in Seattle. A crux of yank quiltmaking, Seattle introduced her to the vibrant, varied art, along using the many coworkers she befriended while working being a copywriter for Martingale & Company. Jenny's desire for quiltmaking inspired her to publish a magazine of baby-quilt designs (The Little Box of Baby Quilts, 2007). Her designs have also appeared on the covers of American Patchwork & Quilting's Quilts and More and Quilter's Newsletter's Quilt It for Kids magazines, as well such as McCall's Quilting magazine.
Jenny now lives inside a quiet, quite sleepy bedroom community north of Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband of ten years, Brett, her two sons--Jack, 6, and Charlie, 2--and Niko Bear, a major silver and black cat.
Along with sewing of all sorts, Jenny's current interests include eating store-bought birthday cakes, hearing classic rock and current soul, writing, and knitting. She writes about her sewing, thrifting, and family life at thewildcards.com.
